Six Road Games Next Week
Kearney, Neb. – The weekend schedule for the Nebraska Kearney softball team has changed due to wintry weather in the area. The Lopers (12-14, 3-1 MIAA) were to have played five games at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Classic in St. Joseph, Mo., Friday through Sunday. That entire tournament has been canceled. UNK will now head to Council Bluffs, Ia., on Tuesday (March 21) to play Augustana in a double header that begins at 1 p.m. The games will be held at Iowa Western C.C.'s softball field. The Lopers will remain in Iowa and head over to Fayette on Wednesday (March 22) to take on Upper Iowa. That double dip starts at noon.
Finally, the long week will conclude with a MIAA double header at Fort Hays State on Saturday (March 25).
