UNK Swimming: Aqualopers Set for 5-Day RMAC Championships

UNK Competes at Altitude Once Again

Kearney, Neb. – The Nebraska Kearney women's swimming and diving team is in Colorado this week for the 2023 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Championships. The five-day meet is once again being hosted by Colorado Mesa at the El Pomar Natatorium in Grand Junction. The eight women's teams competing are UNK, CMU, Colorado School of Mines, Western Colorado, Colorado State-Pueblo, Adams (Colorado) State, Oklahoma Christian and Texas-Permian Basin. Five men's squads are in attendance as well. The long week begins Tuesday at 7 p.m. (Central) with the 800-free relay and time trials. Prelims are at 10 a.m. (Central) Wednesday-Saturday with finals set to begin at 6 p.m. (Central) each night. Finally, one and three-meter diving takes place at 2 p.m. (Central) Wednesday-Saturday. Altitude conversions are in place for swimming as Grand Junction sits 4,580-feet above sea level. Live results are available as is a video stream via The RMAC Network.
