UNK Tennis: Lopers Host National Tourney this Weekend, Face 5-Time Defending National Champ Friday N

Schools from Hawaii & Florida Coming to Kearney this Weekend

Kearney, Neb. – The best tennis tournament to ever be held in Kearney comes this weekend at the Ernest Grundy Center with the 2023 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division II National Women’s Team Indoor Championship.

The dual event runs Friday morning until Sunday night and features seven of the top nine teams in the country including five-time defending national champion Barry (Fla.) University. The Lopers, being the host, received a spot in the field as well.

The event is free and open to the public with four duals taking place each day. Fans not in attendance can watch each match with live results available as well. Below is the complete schedule for the weekend.
