UNK Tennis: Lopers Host Open Tourney this Weekend

Prize Money Available for Winners

Kearney, Neb. – The Nebraska Kearney tennis program is taking part in the 2022 ITA Fall Circuit Tour by hosting an open event this weekend at the new Ernest Grundy Tennis Center. There is a men's (40 registered players) and women's (12 registered players) bracket with prize money available. The event is open to players ages 13+ with many college players, including from UNK, competing unattached. Action begins Friday at 5 p.m. and runs through Sunday. Go HERE for more information. Other Fall Circuit tournaments this weekend are in Crestview Hills, Ky., Chatham, N.J., Daphne, Ala., Lawrenceville, Ga., Salem, Oreg., San Antonio, Texas and Claremont, Calif. Five other tourneys were held Sept. 9-12 at sites around the country.
