UNK Has Three More Home Duals Next Weekend
Kearney, Neb. – The Nebraska Kearney women’s tennis team allowed seven total points in sweeping Hastings College, 7-0, Sunday morning at the Ernest Grundy Tennis Center.
This was an exhibition match with UNK remaining 7-0 and the Broncos at 2-0.
UNK’s three doubles teams each won by a 6-0 score with sophomore Narindra Ranaivo (Madagascar) winning each set in her number two singles match by the same count. Three other Lopers, including Kearney freshman Olivia Flood, allowed just a point in their singles match with Hastings sophomore Merci Hood blanking her Bronco foe 6-0 in the first set at number five. She won the next, 6-4.
The Lopers remain home next weekend to face Colorado Mesa, Augustana and Cowley (Kan.) College.
