UNK Professor featured for Hawaii Shriners Hospital 100th anniversary

One UNK professor was recently featured on one of Hawaii’s television stations.

Communications disorders professor and academic diversity officer Jan Moore was on Good Morning Hawaii to tell her story from Shriners Hospitals Hawaii.

Moore was a patient in the 1960s when she was born with proximal femorial deficiency, which meant that the right part of her femur was missing causing her right leg to be shorter than the other.
